What you share
When you join, we save your email address, signup time, consent version, and a basic signup source. We use this information for Basalarm launch and beta updates. Joining does not create an app account.
What stays out of the waitlist
We don’t ask for temperatures, thermometer photos, menstrual dates, pregnancy intentions, or other health records here. There are no advertising pixels or third-party analytics in this website’s code.
Storage and service providers
Waitlist records are stored in the site’s Cloudflare-backed database through OpenAI Sites. The application does not include signup records in the source repository or expose a public subscriber list. Hosting providers may process standard connection and security logs under their own policies.
For abuse prevention, we keep a daily keyed hash derived from your IP address and a request counter. The application does not store the raw IP address. These counters expire after two days and are cleaned up when new signup requests arrive.
Consent and retention
The checkbox authorizes only launch and beta emails. We do not sell the waitlist or share it with thermometer sellers. No automated email service is connected yet. Before sending updates, Basalarm will configure a provider with an unsubscribe link and remove any expired or withdrawn signups.
Waitlist records expire after 12 months unless you renew your consent. Expired records are deleted when new signup requests arrive and must also be removed before any mailing. If the project stops, the owner will delete the list.
How to leave
After a new signup, the confirmation shows a private removal link. Save it securely: anyone with that link can remove that signup. Opening the link and choosing “Remove me from the waitlist” deletes the active record immediately. Duplicate signups do not replace your original link.
Manage your signup using your saved link. Future email updates will also contain an unsubscribe link. Keep your original removal link if you want to leave before those updates begin. Provider backups, if any, follow the provider’s retention policies.
External thermometer links
Thermometer links take you to external sites with their own privacy and purchase terms. They are ordinary, non-affiliate links. Basalarm does not currently sell or ship devices.
